SES Astra: “now for Africa”
SES Astra last week confirmed it has reserved 24 C-band transponders (out of 72) on the upcoming WorldSat-2 (formerly described as AMC12) craft at37.5 deg West to launch extra services into Africa.
(WS-2 replaces Satcom C1). The deal takes all of WorldSat’s European and African capacity.
