Astra readies for 1M
Canada and Mexico strategy emerges

Not satisfied with last year launching a record-breaking 5 satellites in one year, SES Global’s president Romain Bausch confirmed last week that its Americom division had ordered AMC-18, a 24-transponder craft, built by Lockheed Martin and slated for launch by Ariane later next year. The craft goes into the 105 deg West slot recently acquired by SES from New Skies.
