Sky HD is go for February
Inside Satellite understands HDTV transmissions from BSkyB will start in February. Sky’s all-new HD set-top box will be showcased in December but Sky’s initial bouquet of HD services will not go live until February. Asenior Sky staffer confirmed that the launch date for Sky HD (as the service is now officially called) has now been fixed for February when subscriptions to the Sky HD broadcasts and the Thomson-supplied HD Sky Plus box will first go on sale to the public.
