SES Global: still on acquisition trail: ‘Connexion’ to continue?
SES Global, despite having received some $70m in compensation from Boeing for cancelled transponder capacity, is looking at how an in-flight broadband service could be sustained on its satellites. Romain Bausch, president & CEO at SES Global, told analysts in a conference call Nov 6 that it was in talks with Panasonic and others, including airlines, about continuing a service.
